Cliff-face

Today I’m feeling faceless
and I don’t quite know why.
I have more faces to look at
than I have in a while,
but instead of a face
I have a limestone cliff.
Gulls wheel around me,
laughing and giggling,
but I have to put on a mask
to show emotions, relying
on one side of the Greek
theater masks to avoid
worrying the other faces
looking at mine.
