Flying Away

Life had started out simply enough you know.  She’d grown up, eager to take to the sky and fly planes.  Maybe even do the acrobatics stuff she saw in the air show each summer.

It continued until she’d been put on top of a rocket, and sent off to space.  Always an adventure, flying high, coming home.

Until one trip up when she pulled the joystick too far to the left.

The capsule was never really meant to be able to go that far.

Low Earth orbit gave way to true space, as the floating silver coffin flew on away.
