When the people who write,
all the good behavior books,
with their etiquette advice,
and all that jazz,
I sometimes wonder,
if they really follow it all to the letter,
or if most of it,
draws from a time,
when people had more distance,
and time to stew,
on the little slights,
that they imagined?
