A fun experiment:

1. Read a news article about something that is clearly a nonissue, but will fill up a great deal of column space to allow the everyday person to clutch at the pearls that they need to remember to have on hand at all times.
2. Replace all the scary descriptors with phrases you’d use to describe flowers, toys, or other silly things.
3. Profit.
