or was not sleeping…
Night
Lights flash,
road reflects –
rain at night
A prickly bush on a trail, pebbles and stones falling as hail…
day came to visit
hes always full of sunshine
i didnt much appreciate it…
Booming from the sky,
like a weeping lullabye,
Pouring down below…
Do you really think,
that someone once actually thought,
that they saw lightning from above…
When the day is done,
and the curtain has been called,
let the day be done…
Windows closed and locked,
lights dimmed, blankets drawn, held close…
snowflakes drive through the night air,
I can tell only because the porch light
floods a small, poorly-defined patch…
Starlight,
star bright,
shining from impossible heights…
