now who got to decide that outer space was outer
we should call the earth inner space then…
Space
spend so much time
keeping a distance,
using space as a barrier,
making yourself a castle …
I always thought,
that using this as a euphemism,
for something that’s high…
now all the science shows
led me to believe we would be wearing fancy science clothes by now
i want my space suit and helmet and fancy screens on my face thank you…
It’s a bit harsh to judge outer space,
when here we are…
In a moment of peace,
everything was fine…
I wonder if the first humans,
who can say they’ve just been “off world for a bit,”
Life had started out simply enough you know. She’d grown up, eager to take to the sky and fly planes. Maybe even do the acrobatics stuff she saw in the air show each summer…
I don’t know what it did,
to be so,
carelessly…
If there really were angels,
floating around in space somewhere,
when we would manage to reach them…
