i know weve previously established the correct ranking of colors wherein everything which is not yellow and bright and shiny is the worst

If a lemon were perfectly round
and smooth, you wouldn’t expect
the tang that bites and holds you
We danced in flowers, Rays of sunshine in your hair, And it was yellow
Fluttering away,
As a breeze passes on through…
head so loud so full
with thoughts no one else’s
can get in
not even coming from yellow
pullover sweater, not even
yellow lurks
waiting in the wings
I can smell it
a mouse in the woodwork
a mouse with long ragged teeth
